I have orange pi one zero.

I buy extended Nas card for orange pi zero.

After install extended board, i can't logging in system. Root or user password not accept system)

Try logging with UART and SSH. Try copy new password in shadow on my PC.

But system not accept any password. Maybe system himself change password after changing system or some problem with bash?

p.s. I have Bpi M2p too and last month was the same situation. But console not accepted any login and after enter "root"....again asked to enter login. I rewrite new Armbian and return to work.

Hi, I installed the following Armbian_5.91_Helios4_Debian_buster_next_4.19.63 to my Helios4 NAS and after installing Openmediavault and rebooting, I can't access the OS anymore. The username and the password are the same as when I installed it but now they don't work.  I checked with MSconfig and all seems fine.

IIRC, by default you are asked to create password for root upon first boot (via console). Are you using newly created password on second login? Or failed to create password on first login?

EDIT: the guy going on about MSconfig was actually a spammer, I banned him and hid all his posts once I realized what was going on (editing posts after the fact to insert tiny links).

Did any of you choose a different keyboard layout than default at install perchance?

Back 20+ years ago installing my first Linux machine I think I reinstalled more than 5 times until realizing that since I chose a Swedish keyboard at install, the same keypresses would result in different characters between installation and postinstallation. What if you try again and stay on en-us (or do installation and subsequent boots over SSH from the same host)?
