Orange Pi Lite 2 Uboot

Recommended Posts

It would be insane amazing progress that things would work as expected in just one less than one week after changing to 2019.01/K5. Upstream support is very chaotic ...

resetting ...

My OPiLite2 is booting without issue ...

Maybe the problem is elsewhere ?

EDIT : Is there another owner of OPiLite2 that can confirm that ?

The orangepi lite2 Ubuntu Desktop 2019-03-07 runs flawlessly  while (official) build from armbian Armbian_5.76.190310_Orangepilite2_Ubuntu_bionic_dev_4.20.12.img doesn’t run either.

U-Boot SPL 2018.09-rc1-armbian (Mar 10 2019 - 19:31:24 +0100)
DRAM:This DRAM setup is currently not supported.

I had once a 4.17 own build running

Thanks

Nobody is supporting that old (3.10.y?) kernel and (proprietary) SDK with many closed stuff is in bad shape. We don't use it on H5&H6. It would cost a lot to clean and bring that kernel to some decent level ... to cover one chip only.

We use modern kernel (4.20.y, 5.0,y) only which is not ready for end users. It's written on the download page: "suitable for testing", "beta". Images are build automatically - the same way you build it.
