By default DHCP is disabled on eth0, so the following lines must be added to /etc/network/interfaces to get it to work: auto eth0 iface eth0 inet dhcp But, official docs (section Common features) state: Quote Ethernet adapter with DHCP and SSH server ready on default port (22) Is having DHCP disabled for ethernet by default the expected behaviour for that board ? 0
