  2. Hi,Balbes150, I'm glad to receive your reply.

    A-   My box is S905X 2GB-4bit-DDR 16GB-emmc ssv6051-wifi.

I need to setup canon printer and save the image to emmc, but I was in trouble and asked for help.

1, I  upgrade the image file Armbian_5.75_Aml-s905_Ubuntu_bionic_dev_4.19.21_desktop_20190216.img, it can save to emmc and boot from emmc.

But it can't install and setup canon MP288 printer driver.

2, I upgrade the image file Armbian_5.37_S9xxx_Ubuntu_xenial_3.14.29_mate_20180203.img, it can install and setup canon MP288 printer driver

But it can't save to emmc and boot from emmc.

B-  I have downloaded the armbian/build source code and successfully run install.sh, I have 3th issues:

1,  How to configure ssv6051 wifi.

2,  How to compile and package the image.

3,  How to Burn Image in Batch。

    1. The image is  Armbian_5.37_S9xxx_Ubuntu_xenial_3.14.29_server_20180209.img.xz

2, The arm box is Amlogic S905X 2+16 emmc.

    3. Printf the save.log when run "ddbr" and "./install.sh".

    4. It no boot when run reboot, see reboot.log.

    5. I don't how to save the image to emmc,no boot from TFcard.

I don't think so. This is a proprietary WiFi chip with zero documentation and zero vendor support. The project you mention is from 2 years ago and as far as I can tell, was abandoned.

I actually have three TV boxes with that WiFi chip. It's easier to buy a Realtek WiFi dongle for less than $5 for them if I want. Or if you really want to use that crappy s9082, use a 3.14.29 kernel and the binary driver, but good luck to make it work!

S905X was released three years ago. The main WiFi is rtl8189. 9082C WiFi is an alternative. Now most S905X/S905W are using SSV6051WiFi.
I'm a manufacturer of Android TV box and I'm currently developing armbian and learning how to compile it.
