I found an issue on with armbian on khadas wim2 when WOL is enabled in u-boot using kbi.
When I power off the unit, it actually reboots instead of shutting down.
Issue doesn't appear if I disable WOL.

I successfully installed Armbian_20.05.2_Arm-64_buster_current_5.7.0-rc1_20200418 on my khadas vim2.
Everything is ok except when I want to power it off.
It stays locked at this step:
Quotedetaching DM devices
I have to remove power or use reset button.

I tried successfully amrbian on my khadas vim2 booting from micro sdcard.
Image used: Armbian_19.11.5_Aml-g12_buster_dev_5.5.0-rc4_20191228.img.xz
Only used as headless server.
I have poor I/O access probably because of sdcard.
I tried burning OS on EMMC with the install-aml.sh script.
It does install os on EMMC, I only got an error at the end about deleting install-aml.sh
But SBC couldn't boot any more after this install.
I had to reinstall ubuntu official image from khadas on EMMC.
it's a good start to have such image I hope I'll be able to put it on emmc when it's ready.

You have adjust the uEnv.ini file and the EXTLinux file(in the same named folder).
First go look into the dtb folder and find the correct dtb file for the vim2. Copy the name, and location of that file to those 2 files and you should be ready to boot.Thank you very much, it's ok now.

Hi.
Sorry, I'm new to amlogic devices.
I want to try armbian on a khadas vim2.
I downloaded this image Armbian_19.11.5_Aml-g12_buster_dev_5.5.0-rc4_20191228.img.xz and burned it on a sdcard.
I can't boot my khadas.
Is there any configuration before booting ?

Using Armbian_20.05.3_Arm-64_buster_current_5.7.0-rc3_20200502 on khadas vim2, WOL enabled,
When I power off the unit, it actually reboots instead of shutting down.
It doesn't happen when WOL is disabled.
It doesn't happen with android or ubuntu en emmc.
An idea to fix this ?
