I've had HEVC patches applied all since they were available, but none of my HEVC content ever really played well post kernel 5.6 era. It's probably a 10bit color conversion thing, I wonder if this patch series also tackles that, or if the problem actually lies in FFMPEG or even Kodi itself.
Is there any news on the merging of v4l2-request hwaccel support in FFMPEG's releases? It seems like this has been a proof-of-concept patch series since the beginning. For which I am eternally grateful, obviously. Just wondering if anyone knows if anyone is working on getting that solidified in the FFMPEG codebase.
