  1. Long story short -- I was dumb and attempted to install armbian to the emmc on my s905 box because reading is hard. So now I have a box that won't boot. I have the original firmware image, which will restore the boot partition (from what I understand, this is the problem with s905s now, though I distinctly remember running debian on this via the emmc in the past, but that's a tangent that doesn't matter if I can't get it to boot anything). I have it connected via usb/ttl uart and can send commands. But what commands do I send? The amlogic usb burning tool doesn't see this box via usb, but if I run `usb start` it finds one usb device (presumably my pc). This is what the box reports during boot: https://pastebin.com/DPXdSeLz
  2. I have an old MXQ Pro S905 box I wanted to install Armbian on. I'd done this in the past, then I had coreelec on it, then decided to go back... But that's irrelevant. I got the image Armbian_23.11.1_Aml-s9xx-box_bookworm_current_6.1.63.img.xz from https://armbian.lv.auroradev.org/dl/aml-s9xx-box/archive/ and went through the whole process of getting it ready to boot. I started up the box and went about some other stuff because I remember it taking some time on the first boot. When I came back there were a lot of messages on the screen so I pressed Enter to see where the cursor was. It showed me a prompt, I typed `ls` to make sure things were working (it was), I ran `iwconfig` to see if my wireless interface showed up (it did!). I decided to shut it down with `shutdown now` and figured I'd get back to it later. Well later is now, and I booted up the box. It asks for a login. I try root:1234 with no success. Apparently the os is supposed to ask me to create a new account when it first boots up. But it didn't. And now I don't know how to log in to the root account to create a new user. What do I do?
