  1. I set up the build environment, cloned the repository and placed the mentioned patch file in the user patches location: <git repo>/userpatches/kernel/archive/sunxi-5.15/0001-Modify-MBUS-Driver-to-get-Mali-working-on-Sunxi-A20.patch . After invoking the compile command (similar to Voka's suggestion, but without docker and less entries in DESKTOP_APPGROUPS_SELECTED) and some patience, I got an image for the Cubietruck that finally boots up with the xfce desktop on the TV that was attached via HDMI.
  2. I got the same issue on my Cubietruck. With the official images, my TV even said there is no signal when the Cubietruck loads the Desktop. With the latest image provided by Voka, the signal seems to be there, but I still got a black screen, just like Josue Turco. After searching the net for the lima 1c40000.gpu: mmu page fault prints, I found a very similar issue in the mesa tracker: https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/mesa/mesa/-/issues/5707 . There was even a patch provided (by https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/dorna8550) that seems to fix the problem (https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/mesa/mesa/uploads/64e8736c6a935e91a6547fd22f2051e6/0001-Modify-MBUS-Driver-to-get-Mali-working-on-Sunxi-A20.patch). Unfortunately I have not set up the build environment for creating an Image for the Cubietruck with that patch to test it.
