A complete disabling of the write signal instead of the WP pin is alright but it is less desirable.

Does anyone know of an ARM-based single board computer that stores its boot firmware in SPI flash and has write protection mechanisms (e.g., screws, pins, jumpers, etc.) for said SPI flash? The ROCK 3A has something like it, but I don't think the mechanism uses an SPI flash chip's intended WP control pin.
