At the end, I just run it off the Orange Pi 4 image. It boots, and seems totally stable, but a lot doesn't work. No WiFi, no Bluetooth, no microphone, no internal speaker. Graphics works great, and it doesn't break during upgrades. I already ran mine off of ethernet, and never used the internal speaker (I have a USB speaker), nor microphone, so I just live with it. Obviously not ideal. For my bluetooth mouse, it also can use a USB dongle.
That being said, I've been using it quite some time, and it's stable and useful and fast.
Right now I'm trying to figure out how to turn this image into a working one.
I also wish I knew why development just stopped for this machine.
