I recently started "porting" linux to my Huawei mate 9. Its one of those projects plagued with silly issues and a sad lack of docs and unreliable hearsay. I was hopeful someone may have started something similiar, or maybe commit logs/discussions from when Hikey960 support was added. Ive found commits but praying that maybe more exists. I just have a handful of basic questions, most unfortunately involve things like the android bootloader. Which partitions related to boot can safely be replaced with non signed images, how do i stop fastboot from combining the appended dtb with those in dts partition. Just to give a general sense of what im looking for. Thanks in advance, always loved and respected Armbian and the importance of the work you do.
