  1. I installed Armbian on the eMMC to see if it would improve performance in Netsurf, but I didn't get good results. Now, when I tried to go back to the original Android, I noticed that the X96Q is no longer recognized in Windows 10's Task Manager. Does anyone know how to make the X96Q be recognized by the PC again?
  2. I wasn't expecting anything grand, I just wanted to be able to use GIMP, Netsurf, and lightweight games like SuperTuxKart. The issue isn't with the system itself but rather with the hardware compatibility of my X96Q. In MiniArch, I'm unable to manage or monitor the clocks of the Allwinner H313. For some reason, the kernel refuses to recognize the CPU "drivers." When I run Neofetch, it shows "CPU: (4)" with no further information about the model or Sunxi details. On Armbian, I can't enable the UI to be rendered by the GPU. The Panfrost drivers are recognized, but the GPU remains unused.
  3. I have installed both Armbian and MiniArch, but neither system performs well in desktop environments. Does anyone know if there is an emulation system like LibreELEC, EmuELEC or RetroArch for the X96Q?
  4. @rafman Thank you for the help, I will put it aside for now. Could someone compile a headless version of lpddr3 v1.3 for me? I tested v5.1 and it didn't work.
  5. @rafman I managed to install it on the system, but I don't quite understand what it's for. Is it to enable video encoding for the GPU with h264/h265? Either way, that's not exactly what I wanted. My problem is the following: every time I move the mouse, the CPU usage goes to 100% on one or more cores, showing that the workload for rendering the UI on the screen is on the CPU. I want to know if I can use the GPU to "render" the UI. Note: The mouse flickers on the screen because the UI can't be rendered at 60fps. Note 02: The CPU clock is locked at 1512MHz to slightly improve the situation.
  6. I successfully installed Armbian on my x96q lpddr3 v3.1 without issues, but it seems the GPU is not enabled on the system. Could someone explain how to enable GPU acceleration? I've never used Linux before, so I'm a bit confused about how to proceed. The version i used on my board: Armbian-unofficial_24.11.0-trunk_X96q_bookworm_current_6.6.44_mate_desktop.img
