Hi, I'm having the exact same error: st7789v spi0.0: error -EINVAL: Failed to setup spi st7789v: probe of spi0.0 failed with error -22 but haven't been able to solve it. I noticed that you commented out the compatible = "sitronix,st7789v"; line and replaced it with a samsung device. Did you get it to work with the st7789? What do you mean by that you did the st7789 initialization manually? Any other advice for getting it to work? Any help is much appreciated. Thanks!
