The problem was resolved by upgrading. I had been running
Armbian_25.5.1_Orangepi5_bookworm_vendor_6.1.115_minimal
and everything was was fine except after a reboot, there would be an Oops error. I reimaged the machine with
Armbian_25.5.1_Orangepi5_bookworm_current_6.12.28_minimal
and the problem has been resoled.
