  1. For this device, ttyS2 is used for BT, but the problem was that the system was trying to use it for logging. After modifying that part in boot.cmd and rebooting, the firmware came up.
  2. After installing the firmware shown in the link and requesting modifications by decompiling your dtb, there's been some progress, but it's still not working yet. However, I'm hopeful that with a little more effort, it should work.
  3. I have verified that Wi-Fi is working, and I have also figured out how to install to eMMC. However, after running armbian-install, the system only boots if I put MiniLoaderAll.bin into the firmware field of the “Upgrade Firmware” session in Rockchip-AndroidTool while the device is in Maskrom mode, and then press the Upgrade button. MiniLoaderAll.bin It appears to be an SPI-related issue, but at the moment I don’t see any way to resolve it. I am also having difficulty getting Bluetooth to work. If you have any information on this, your assistance would be appreciated.
  4. I purchased the device after reading your thread and am currently porting it to my hardware with Copilot (Claude Sonnet 4.5). You can refer to my work results in the repository below. So far, the following parts have been confirmed to work: HDMI (no need to reconnect after Linux kernel boot) Ethernet Built-in eMMC Currently working on: Wi-Fi / Bluetooth (in my case, the model uses AIC8800D80) Not yet verified: GPU Install to eMMC As suggested in your thread, I based my work on the Hinlink HT2 and Radxa Rock 2F, using the DTB extracted from my device’s firmware and processing it with Copilot. I’d appreciate it if you could take a look if you’re interested. IMG_1597.HEIC https://github.com/wwwhana/armbian-build
  5. In the end, I couldn’t recover the device and ended up purchasing a new one. It was also a V5.1 board, but fortunately, it booted from the SD card without any extra steps and installed successfully. It seems we should keep in mind that even boards with the same version may not always work the same way.
  6. I got interested after reading this thread and ordered an X96Q from AliExpress. The board is marked as V5.1, so I thought it would be straightforward, but after two days of trying, no matter which image I use, it always boots into Android. I tried UART communication, but nothing appeared. I even applied the secure boot patch and built it, just in case, but it still wouldn’t boot. How can I get this machine to boot from an SD card? I’m attaching photos of my board and the extracted DTS for reference. dtb.0.dts
