[Shutdown operation doesn't power Orange Pi down]

Any ideas when they are going to add shutdown support in the modern kernel?

Any plans to fix hi temperature issue after shutdown on ARMBIAN 5.65 stable Debian GNU/Linux 9 (stretch) 4.14.84-sunxi?

 

p.s. It's nice and cool on Debian GNU/Linux 8 (jessie)

found. installed cir support via armbian-config. System -> Hardware -> cir

 

p.s. Stretch lirc 0.9.4 is included in the Debian package. The configuration is slightly different. The hardware.conf file is not supported, obsoleted by a new lirc_options.conf file and systemd unit definitions.

Thank you. Started lircd no problem. But...

 

sudo evtest command doesn't show any available devices

sudo irw /dev/lircd returns "Cannot connect to socket /dev/lircd: No such file or directory"

I have ARMBIAN 5.60 stable Debian GNU/Linux 9 (stretch) 4.14.78-sunx and installed IR support via armbian-config. Followed LIRC setup procedure for old Linux8 (jessie) and nothing works 

 

sudo evtest command doesn't show any available devices

sudo service lirc start returns Failed to start lirc.service: Unit lirc.service not found.

 

Any advise?

Fixed it by changing SD card and reload the same image.

Installed ARMBIAN 5.60 stable Debian GNU/Linux 9 (stretch) 4.14.70-sunxi and got surprise:

 

aplay: device_list:270: no soundcards found...

 

Tried to fix with armbian-config -> System -> Hardware -> but it shows empty fields or blinks and returns to main System menu
