  2. Hi, I updated the gc2035 driver, kernel 3.4.x. The driver can be loaded with parameter, so you can choose to have different window size and/or image quality on the fly (well, kind of). Parameter: hres=[0,1,2] hres=0 (default without parameter) 640x480, 15 fps, good quality (fps with good light condition) 1280x720, 13 fps, poor quality (fps with good light condition) 1600x1200, 10 fps, poor quality (fps with good light condition) hres=1 800x600, 12 fps, good quality (fps with good light condition) 1600x1200, 8 fps, medium quality (fps with good light condition) hres=2 320x240, 20 fps, poor quality (fps with good light condition) 640x480, 18 fps, medium quality (fps with good light condition) 800x600, 18 fps, medium quality (fps with good light condition) Loading the driver (manually): modprobe gc2035 hres=1 modprobe vfe_v4l2 or add it to /etc/modules Unloading the driver: modprobe -r -v vfe_v4l2 modprobe -r -v gc2035 and loading with other window size and performance: modprobe gc2035 hres=2 modprobe vfe_v4l2 PS: Light condition does affect fps performance! github: Cheers, @lex
  3. I have Armbian Jessie running on a Orange Pi Lite board and the login script is showing the local loopback ip ( It appears to be doing this because /etc/update-motd.d/30-sysinfo calls ifconfig -a and pulls the first ip, which in this particular case, is the local loopback. For the orangepi-lite, i wrote the following command in and it fixes the problem in this case. sudo sed -i "s/ifconfig -a/ifconfig wlan0/g" /etc/update-motd.d/30-sysinfo It basically changes the script to pull the ip address from wlan0 instead of whatever one it finds first This could also be called from the command line for the same effect instead of during compilation. However, for other boards using an ethernet adapter, this obviously wont work without changing wlan0 to eth0 or whatever network you have. I am not the best a bash script, and I am trying to find a way to edit the script in /etc/update-motd.d/30-sysinfo to display the first valid inet address instead of just the first inet address it finds. It is currently pulled like so. ip_address=$((ifconfig -a) | sed -n '/inet addr/s/.*addr.\([^ ]*\) .*/\1/p' | head -1) Anyone have any ideas?
  4. Hi, I updated my cubietruck jessie to 5.23. update successful but no boot on kernel . I boot on sd card and mount nand . no uImage but an zImage. I use mkimage in order to generate uImage and it work. kernel packaging must be corrected.
  5. I am trying to create my own USB gadget based on sunxi_usb_udc and GadgetFS with Orange Pi PC. I can't find any details about sunxi_usb_udc and after successful startup and detection, I am unable to get data sent by host side. How can I proceed?
  6. I downloaded image for Orange Pi PC plus - Jessie desktop today and run upgrade ... It is not critical error but I report it. 7. Hi TKaiser / Igor, FYI i manually prepared a patch for devices that use rtl2832u that i think may interest you to add this patch to the build process. You can patch against legacy kernel 3.4.111 and give users a chance to get their device recognized. Sorry, i can't couple with the automated armbian process yet, i usually do the things manually. I hope this can be useful (and hopefully works for someone). clone here: @lex
  8. When I build for Olimex-A10 with the sunxi I2S drivers enabled, build fails. Without this driver, its building/ working fine without issues. I am compiling with 3.4.x and with Jessie. I tried compiling it even as a module but with same result. the lines just before the failure are pasted below: " In file included from drivers/staging/wlan-ng/prism2usb.c:5:0: x x drivers/staging/wlan-ng/prism2fw.c: In function âwriteimage.constprop.37â: x x drivers/staging/wlan-ng/prism2fw.c:1115:1: warning: the frame size of 4240 bytes is larger than 2048 bytes [-Wframe-larger-than=] x x } x x ^ x x LD [M] drivers/staging/usbip/usbip-core.o x x LD [M] drivers/staging/usbip/vhci-hcd.o x x LD [M] drivers/staging/usbip/usbip-host.o x x In file included from drivers/staging/wlan-ng/p80211netdev.c:91:0: x x drivers/staging/wlan-ng/cfg80211.c: In function âprism2_scanâ: x x drivers/staging/wlan-ng/cfg80211.c:404:22: warning: ignoring return value of âcfg80211_inform_bssâ, declared with attribute warn_unused_result [-Wunused-result] x x cfg80211_inform_bss(wiphy, x x ^ x x LD [M] drivers/staging/wlan-ng/prism2_usb.o x x LD drivers/staging/built-in.o x x LD drivers/built-in.o x mqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqj [ error ] ERROR in function compile_kernel [ ] [ error ] Kernel was not built [ @host ] [ o.k. ] Process terminated " Any pointers on what can be the reason here ? Thanks,
  9. Hi Igor, Here is YAP (Yet Another Patch) for the TBS5520 USB2 DVB-T/T2/C/S/S2 device (Rafael Micro r848 tuner). Sorry again, i tried 'git diff' but it gets only the first file, if you feel this can be added to the build process, please do it. There is a new version released that someone could give a look, but for now you can test this. git clone @lex PS: This should be applied right after rtl2832 patch.
