  1. Need to know if there is any real time operating system for nanopi M1 plus.
  2. Hello everyone, Apologies if this is not the right forum for this questions, but could not find any more appropriate one after some searching. I get an HTTP 404 when I try to access the pre-built images for the nanopi m1 plus from the board page. I know the board is EOS but for other EOS boards I can still download the images. Is there any reason why this board seems to have disappeared completely ?
  3. trying to know what is the chipset used for wifi in M1+ but it is not mentioned in hardware specs at wiki.friendlyarm.com ! .... with its datasheet. thanks in advance
  4. Hi , there I am trying to write a program which will detect the presence of SD Card in Nano Pi M1 plus device. There are many ways to do this either by doing fdisk -l or looking into /dev/mmcblk* . But I want to keep running it in a loop and doing fdisk -l and grep doesn't seems an appropriate way. Can the insertion or removal of SD cards be checked via Hardware Interrupts? Plz. help me I am a newbie. Thank in advance.
  5. Hi, I am using NanoPi M1+ device with Armbian Bionic kernel 4.14.y OS in it. On doing hciconfig ... I get no output. on doing hcitool dev ... the output is none too... What is the issue here? Why can't I see the bluetooth device of the device?

  7. Hello, I`m used armbian build script (from ) and got image without module tv. Why it missed module tv (video/sunxi/disp2/tv)? There it bug or legacy kernel doesn't support cvbs output? How can i add this module to image?
  8. Hi, i try config NanoPi M1 Plus to CVBS output. What i did: 1. Install legacy image from armbian 5.59 (kernel 3.4.y) 2. Used armbian-config to edit boot script: [disp_init] disp_mode = 1 screen1_output_type = 2 screen1_output_mode = 11 [tv_para] tv_used = 1 3. Added module tv into /etc/modules: #w1-sunxi #w1-gpio #w1-therm #sunxi-cir hci_uart rfcomm hidp dhd tv So far, i got only black screen on TV (no video, no audio). When i had config disp_out to HDMI, it worked fine. What i need config to enable TV out? Why it not working? Can anybody help me? Seems, i haven`t tv module... modinfo tv return modinfo: ERROR: Module tv not found. Where i can get tv.ko or source code for NanoPi M1+?
  9. Hello, in the company where I work, a nanopi M1 plus was purchased and we are developing a firmware to run on the device. In our code we need to change the settings of the active wired connection at that time, but we can not do it due to an error. If, for example, we use the following command: nmcli connection modify 'Ifupdown (eth0)' ipv4.method auto The following error message is returned. Error: failed to modify connection 'Ifupdown (eth0)': Connection is read-only The command is executed correctly if the connection is not managed by NetworkManager, so when in the file: "NetworkManager.conf" the "managed" parameter is set to false. We had to set it to true because otherwise, by changing the ethernet cable and inserting another of another subnet, we realized that the device keeps the old IP address and therefore is unreachable. So how could we solve that problem? Regards Marco
  10. Hello, I installed Armbian on Nanopi M1 Plus. I used it for a couple of days but now I encountered a problem: the boot stops after the following writing appears: "started hostname service" I tried to wait several minutes but nothing happens anymore Best regards Marco UPDATE: The problem occurs when the device is powered only by the Debug UART, probably the pc usb is not enough to power it
  11. Hello, I am new to Nanopi platform. I want to use nanopi m1+ as a wifi access point. How should I go after it from starting?
  12. Hi all and thanks for the great work done. I'm trying to install armbian on the eMMC of my NanoPi M1 Plus, the system boot from SD and I create the user then I start the nand-sata-install command. In the "choose an option" I have only "1 Boot from eMMC - system on eMMC" and then I choose ext4. The process complete and I launch the "dd if=/dev/zero of=/dev/mmcblk0 bs=1024 seek=8 count=1" command directly after. The system does not boot anymore with and without the SD inserted. On serial console, in both cases, I get: U-Boot SPL 2017.05-armbian (Jun 13 2017 - 15:14:45) DRAM: 1024 MiB Trying to boot from MMC2 MMC Device 1 not found spl: could not find mmc device. error: -19 SPL: failed to boot from all boot devices ### ERROR ### Please RESET the board ### I've checked the microSD slot card detect switch issue, but it seems OK. Any suggestion? Thank you, Zabriskie
  13. So we get the Banana Pi M2+ killer soon it seems, just stumbled accross the 'NanoPi M1 Plus' in FriendlyARM repo: https://github.com/friendlyarm/h3_lichee/blob/master/tools/pack/chips/sun8iw7p1/configs/nanopi-h3/boards/sys_config_nanopi_m1_plus.fex According to fex file we get: H3 with primitive voltage regulation (1.1V/1.3V) and therefore 1200 MHz max eMMC AP6212 Wi-Fi/BT 40 pin header identical to M1 2 leds as usual (red/blue) Gigabit Ethernet 24 pin camera connector compatible to M1/Air 1 x USB OTG, 3 x host 2 x host (maybe the 3rd host port somewhere on headers) I would assume same board layout as NanoPi M1 now but one USB type A receptacle less and there the eMMC. Amount of DRAM and eMMC can not be read from the fex file but I would believe we're talking about 1GB and 8GB here (eMMC might be available with larger sizes but I doubt 2 GB DRAM will be possible due to PCB size restrictions if dimensions should be the same as M1). We'll see, currently nothing is announced so this is all speculative and only backed by looking through the vendor's fex file. If settings there are correct adding support for this board with both legacy and vanilla kernel is plain simple (almost all pin mappings like other boards, it's just a mixture of NanoPi M1 and BPi M2+ settings) Edit: I've been wrong regarding USB ports (looked in Banana Pi M2+ settings at that moment), it seems all 3 USB host ports are available as on NanoPi M1
