  1. Hello. I tried the steps, but my Mecool KIII pro don't run using default conf extlinux.conf: label Armbian_community kernel /Image initrd /uInitrd fdtdir /dtb/amlogic/meson-gxm-mecool-kiii-pro.dtb append root=UUID=3bc7a8b8-73ee-4ade-9030-f3fa965fc27e rootflags=data=writeback console=ttyAML0,115200n8 console=tty0 rw no_console_suspend consoleblank=0 fsck.fix=yes fsck.repair=yes net.ifnames=0 splash plymouth.ignore-serial-consoles But I need choose (unofficial) label Armbian-unofficial kernel /Image initrd /uInitrd fdtdir /dtb/amlogic/meson-gxm-mecool-kiii-pro.dtb #Insert the correct FDT line for your box's dtb in the extlinux.conf file #The dtbs for Amlogic s9xx boxes are located in /boot/dtb/amlogic #For example for a TX3 mini box the FDT line to insert would look like this: FDT /dtb/amlogic/meson-gxm-mecool-kiii-pro.dtb append root=UUID=3bc7a8b8-73ee-4ade-9030-f3fa965fc27e rootflags=data=writeback console=ttyAML0,115200n8 console=tty0 rw no_console_suspend consoleblank=0 fsck.fix=yes fsck.repair=yes net.ifnames=0 splash plymouth.ignore-serial-consoles Thx
  2. Was trying to follow the https://www.armbian.com/participate/ page instructions to get access to Jira, but the link just takes me to Jira and tells me that I don't have access. No option to request access on that page, just "[username] doesn't have access to Jira on armbian.atlassian.net." Does the participate page need updates? Or should I just try to work off of github issues only? Feel free to direct me to the right place if it matters, I would potentially be helping with some nanopi devices, have several r2s and r2s plus - the r2s plus needs some work i think.
  3. Hello good people, I recently started "porting" linux to my Huawei mate 9. Its one of those projects plagued with silly issues and a sad lack of docs and unreliable hearsay. I was hopeful someone may have started something similiar, or maybe commit logs/discussions from when Hikey960 support was added. Ive found commits but praying that maybe more exists. I just have a handful of basic questions, most unfortunately involve things like the android bootloader. Which partitions related to boot can safely be replaced with non signed images, how do i stop fastboot from combining the appended dtb with those in dts partition. Just to give a general sense of what im looking for. Thanks in advance, always loved and respected Armbian and the importance of the work you do.
  4. Hello. How did you turn it off? I have Armbian installed on eMMC and the task is to write as little as possible on eMMC. How to disable all logs. Actually everything.
  5. I have a few STBs that I would like to install linux just for fun. 1. Amino A540 2. Arris VIP6102W 3. Kaon KSTB2020 Which STB would be easy to start with?
