OrangePi Killing SD Card or device dying, unsure? "-bash: /usr/bin/sudo: Input/output error"

I just had an OrangePi of mine at a customer site, die on me. It just stopped responding to ping, so I made them a new MicroSD card and mailed it out.

 

Now I think the Pi hates the Stretch release or something and fries SD cards?
