electron
Hi everyone, I have the OV5640 game ver1 image sensor with ARMBIAN 5.75 stable Debian GNU/Linux 9 (stretch) 4.19.20-sunxi64. Why does the kernel 4.19.* not support the OV5640 driver? How can I add this driver manually to the kernel? I noticed that the Orange Pi Zero Plus2 H3 kernel has OV5640 driver. Михаил Милославский
@lex said: Quote I was looking to enable the ov5640 on mainline kerne 4.x, i found this: K1 PLUS PE12/CSI_SCK/TWI2_SCK --->> I2C2_SCL PE13/CSI_SDA/TWI2_SDA --->> I2C2_SDA PE14 --->> GPIOE14 PE15 --->> GPIOE15 ORANGE PI ZERO PLUS2 PE12/CSI_SCK/TWI2_SCK --->> CSI-SCK PE13/CSI_SDA/TWI2_SDA --->> CSI-SDA PE14 --->> CSI-RESET# PE15 --->> CSI-STBY-EN Currently, mainline use i2c to talk to the sensor, thus making it hard to use what we have today for the H5. I would suggest contact @zador.blood.stained and see if it is active and can help to set up the DT to use CSI-SCK and CSI-SDA. I think 3.x is just a small change in the fex file.
