mydeardiary Posted July 7, 2022 Share Posted July 7, 2022 Recently stumbled into this issue on Armbian Bullseye 22.05.3 with khadas-vim1-bsp-cli package installed. Actually, it is not a real Vim-1 but another cheap amlogic s905x box. The apt search slowness is fixed by emptying /etc/apt/20-armbian-compress-indexes , removing files inside /var/lib/apt/lists and re-running apt-get update I keep /etc/apt/20-armbian-compress-indexes instead of removing the file in case a future system update will bring back its contents.
