I've downloaded this but there are a few issues.

The verification procedures:

Verify GPG signature:
gpg --verify Armbian_20.05.2_Nanopi-r2s_buster_current_5.4.43.img.asc

Verify image file integrity:
sha256sum --check Armbian_20.05.2_Nanopi-r2s_buster_current_5.4.43.img.sha

should include the .xz

Verify GPG signature:
gpg --verify Armbian_20.05.2_Nanopi-r2s_buster_current_5.4.43.img.xz.asc

Verify image file integrity:
sha256sum --check Armbian_20.05.2_Nanopi-r2s_buster_current_5.4.43.img.xz.sha

However with the gpg

gpg --verify Armbian_20.05.2_Nanopi-r2s_buster_current_5.4.43.img.xz.asc
gpg: assuming signed data in 'Armbian_20.05.2_Nanopi-r2s_buster_current_5.4.43.img.xz'
gpg: Signature made Wed 03 Jun 2020 06:20:26 AWST
gpg:                using RSA key DF00FAF1C577104B50BF1D0093D6889F9F0E78D5
gpg: Can't check signature: No public key

When installed it performs as expected but doing an

apt update
apt upgrade
shutdown -r 0

results in it wedging. It seems to be updating the firmware amongst other items.

I've also run into a problem (not always) that when you enter the mandatory new root password it simply drops the connection. As I said, it doesn't always do this but It's happened at least once so far.

Edit: I have had some errors that indicate disk failure. That may explain some of the effects. Tomorrow it's a new flash card to eliminate that possibility.

Regards

Jeremy
