How can I force a USB SDcard reader to only use 1Bit mode.

On a NanoPi Neo Air I would like to force a USB-connected SDcard reader (which natively uses 4-Bit transfer) to only use 1Bit mode.

Any ideas how to configure the driver / device tree to do that?
