Description

Recent dts overlays broke cpufreq and SDnand support for Rock-PI-S. This patch simply deletes those 2 .dts files board-rockpis-0028-arm64-dts-rk3308-add-opp-1300mhz.patch board-rockpis-0030-disabled-emmc-fix-boot-sdcard.patch

How Has This Been Tested?

Rebuilt kernel without the two .dts files. Verified that cpufreq and SDnand functions both restored.

One open issue is that the currently shipping RK3308B-S SOC silicon is being overvolted by the CPU operating points Armbian is using.

I have discussed this in the forum: https://forum.armbian.com/topic/11228-rock-pi-s-rk3308-cpu-is-it-supported-by-anything/page/3/#comment-143389

Fixing this is straightforward, but I'm not sure where to put the resulting .dts file. It would not be apropriate to the old -B silicon. The new (B-S) silicon consumes 10% less power and runs 10% faster with the corrected operating points vs those in the existing edge kernel.

Where would such a new rk3308bs-rockpi-s.dts file belong? It could be a user overlay, but that would require all users to do extra work to apply it. The older (-B) silicon has not been shipped for >1year.

Thoughts?
