armbian in embedded electronics devices: gpl-v3 issues

Hi there

armbian seems a very powerful  distribution for arm. But i am not sure that we can use it for eletronic devices .

GPL V3 licence does not allow   manufacturer to do  locked devices

GPL V3 seems  used  by armbian

 

does any body a has a feeling about this ?
