Zoltán Palkó Posted June 4, 2023 Posted June 4, 2023 (edited) Hello I newly installed a community armbian image to my Alfawise H96 ProPlus TV box. All seems to be working except sshd. I found out, that is because of not existing /run/sshd directory. After creating this directory the systemctl start ssh wokrs, but until the next reboot. The image I used is Armbian_23.8.0-trunk.51_Aml-s9xx-box_lunar_edge_6.2.16.img. Thanks Edited June 4, 2023 by Zoltán Palkó 0 Quote
Zoltán Palkó Posted June 6, 2023 Author Posted June 6, 2023 I found out, that sshd does not start, because the systemd does not creates the tmp directory for it. It is missing despite that the /usr/lib/tmpfiles.d/openssh-server.conf exists and contains the necessery config for the /run/sshd directory. Maybe this information says something to somebody. 0 Quote
Zoltán Palkó Posted June 6, 2023 Author Posted June 6, 2023 I got the final solution! The root filesystem of the downloaded image has the / ownership of user id 1023. Changing it to root, the problem solved! 0 Quote
