No LAN on Beelink GT1 Ultimate

Hi Forum members,

I have a Beelink GT1 Ultimate tvbox (RTL8211f/LTM8830) which came to me with Coreelec, so not the stock Android firmware. I had to install the Android firmware (found somewhere on internet, not from Beelink) in order to be able to run Armbian (off sd card) and no matter which .dtb I try, there is no LAN in Armbian (no phy), but also it doesn't work in Android. Am I right in that I cannot make it work in Armbian if it doesn't work in Android? 

Case 1: Eth port/rtl8211f chip is damaged

Case 2: the Android firmware image does not fit my tv box

Is there a chance that case 2 is the situation so if I find an Android image with working LAN then I'm done?

By the way now when I start the box with sd card (Armbian) in it, the very first lines that appear after the logo are: 

Net:  Could not get PHY for mdio@2009087f: addr 0

No ethernet found.

 

I also have another GT1, non-ultimate with the same RTL8211f chip and it works great with Armbian.
