Use GPIO Pins - Read Temperature Sensor

is it possible to use GPIO Pins with this OS?

Board: OrangePI PC

 

I decided to use this OS as the original images doesnt seem to support an USB WLAN adapter with atheros chipset I am using. This OS seems to work well with it.
