sem
Hi guys. I have been using a RockPro64 as a miniserver for many years. It runs stable most of the time. I have assigned it a host name "ab2" via armbian-config. It usually responds well to this alias. Only from time to time it happens that it no longer responds to the hostname. Only a reboot helps. Do you have any idea what this could be? PS Thanks for your great work! CryBaby
Normally your router will be responsible for translating the hostname to an IP address. So if it stops working you should look at your router's DHCP and DNS. Often both will be handled by dnsmasq. Rebooting your RockPro will renew its DHCP lease.
