access to gpio does not work on raspberry pi 4

Hello,

 

this is weird. With armbian 23.8.1 I can access the gpio-pins of the raspberry 4b.
With (current) armbian 24.2.1 neither wiringpi (gpio -v) works nor any direct access (like echo "4" > /sys/class/gpio/export)

The only difference I can find is the version of armbian.
Please give me a hint on how to get gpio-access working with the current armbian.

Edit: with raspbian it works (echo "4" > /sys/class/gpio/export and cat /sys/class/gpio/gpio4/value), so apparently I used the correct method.
