Help needed making an AP (OPiZero)

can somebody help me create an ap using hostapd i was following this turorial https://seravo.fi/2014/create-wireless-access-point-hostapd but when i 

chirantan@orangepizero:~$ iw wlan0 info
Interface wlan0
        ifindex 4
        type managed
        wiphy 1

 

 

i cant change the type to AP
