alek_28
Hi, Curious if there's something like Intel ME that I can use to control my PC and use as a coprocessor when booted, maybe if it had a Coral TPU or something. I remember hearing something about a RPi CM4 base board that has a PCIe connector that can plug into a 1x or 2x slot. (Don't remember exactly which one.) Thanks in advance. edit: Also. Use it for GPIO and serial ports. Edited July 28 by alek_28 GPIO, serial
Danilewort
Hi there, To use the CM4, you typically need a base board that provides connectors and power to the module. Base boards come in various designs, depending on your application needs. Here are some common features you might consider: Power Management, Connectivity, Expansion, Peripherals, etc. In short, CM4 is designed for developers who want the performance of the Raspberry Pi 4 Model B but in a more flexible form factor for custom applications.
