I install the image from this page: https://armbian.com/boards/aml-s9xx-box.

Choose the version:

Debian 13 trixie Minimal (CLI) — current 6.18.60 361 MB

root@aml-s9xx-box:~# uname -a
Linux aml-s9xx-box 6.18.60-current-meson64 #1 SMP PREEMPT Fri Oct 30 12:06:41 UTC 2026 aarch64 GNU/Linux

I have successfully run with SDCard, but cannot install it to eMMC.

root@aml-s9xx-box:~# ./install-aml.sh

Even though it says Complete, but it cannot boot from eMMC, stuck in a loop. I notice it said "sed: can't read /ddbr/install/boot.ini: No such file or directory", which in this system, there is no boot.ini.

I look up and see some suggest using armbian-install, but this image don't have that.

I tried to copy the armbian-install raw file from ophub github, but it failed at the checking for ophub release file step.

So how can I install it to eMMC?

Thank you for your help.
