geoffjiang Posted March 30, 2016 Share Posted March 30, 2016 First, thank you Igor for the wonderful images! I have a cubieboard1 which I haven't played with for a long time. This week I found Armbian and decided to put it on my CB1. I have an HDMI-to-DVI cable, so I connected CB1 to a Dell monitor with 1280x1024 resolution. I tried several of your images for CB1 and they all stuck during boot with blank screen. After several tries, I decided to try on a real HDMI with 1920x1080 resolution. Of course it worked. Did some google search and found out I can change one parameter in the boot.cmd/boot.scr from disp.screen0_output_mode=1920x1080p60 to disp.screen0_output_mode=EDID:1920x1080p60 and it will try to auto select screen resolution before fallback on 1920x1080. I wonder if you can add this to your future release so that people with different HDMI screen resolution can survive the boot up process.
