I got confirmation from Olimex that there is a HW issue with the Lime2-16GB-eMMC revK boards.

I recently ordered 3 A20-OLinuXino-LIME2-e16GB devices (with 16GB eMMC) and received rev. K boards. Unfortunately, I have troubles with both "official" Olimex eMMC rel 16 image and latest (as of last week) Armbian Stretch images. Both images booted fine from SD card (also tried multiple SD cards, one of them bought from Olimex ) and I was able to run the emmc.sh / nand-sata-install scripts fine. Now the troubles started as I turned off the device, removed the sd-card and tried to boot from eMMC. All 3 boards had entered FEL mode. From fel mode I was able to use the `sunxi-fel` utility and push the uboot fine... Initially I was able to get Olimex's images to work by removing the power by yanking the cord instead of doing proper shutdown, but this only allowed me to boot the board from eMMC single time after install. I have tried different power supplies and SD cards. Any ideas what else to try?
