Until last week, I have been able to compile working images for my Minix Neo X7 tv box with @balbes150 git branch. This is no longer possible for rk3188 or rk3288 in the CSC/WIP/EOS/TVB tab of the ./compile.sh menu :-(((. It was really fun while it lasted. Any possibility of seeing it again in a near future?

I have the same setup in my Minix X7, I need a cold boot unplugging and plugging the power to start Armbian from the SD card. I also have the internal jumper set to auto boot, I hope this helps.

If you suceeded in booting from SD card, you should be able to reboot with SD card inserted again. I wouldn't waste time in installing old Android system that you can't update, specially now that armbian is working (partially) for Minix.

Hi, As far as I know internal memory is not recognized nor installation to it is supported. You will need to work from SD card. My Minix Neo X7 auto-boots from SD card to armbian correctly I have wasser 3.0.6 FW in the internal memory. Regards

I guess you have already updated the file name rk3188-rbox-cs968.dtb in /boot/extlinux/extlinux.conf (by default it includes FDT /boot/dtb/rk3188-ugoos-ut2.dtb). If this is the case and you still have no hdmi output, I'm afraid I can't help you.

At least I haven't been able to set it up in my Minix X7 (RTL8152B). I will keep trying.

Hi, after installing libgmp-dev and libdlib-dev, I have been able to compile: Armbian_21.11.0-trunk_Rk3188_bullseye_current_5.10.87_xfce_desktop.img Armbian_21.11.0-trunk_Rk3188_buster_current_5.10.87_xfce_desktop.img Compilation is aborted with hirsute or other desktop environment than Xfce.

I have LifeCam and Tandberg precisionHD webcams working with webcamoid after compiling @balbes150 GitHub build. I only had to change CONFIG_USB_VIDEO_CLASS is not set to =y in file build/config/kernel/linux-rk3188-current.config I would never had expected this some months ago. I really hope you keep updating RK3188 armbian and be able to install it in EMMC in the future. In any case, my sincere gratitude.

The wifi-dongle did the trick. I updated the system and is working nicely with ssh and vnc access. I'm not able to configure a Microsoft LifeCam usb webcam though, anyone with any hint about how to proceed? thanks in advance.

I have tried hirsute 5.10.63 booting from SD card in my Minix NEO X7. I am really grateful to you for giving new life to my TV Box. HDMI and sound works from start. I´m struggling to configure network connection, would something similar to rk3318-config be possible/useful? I will try to use a wifi-dongle as suggested before. Thanks again and I will be happy to contribute with any data if my user experience can be somehow useful.
