    I had the same problem with a fresh build of the latest dev image. I flashed onto eMMC, but the RK3399 would not boot from it. After booting again from an (older) SD card, I was able to update the bootloader on eMMC using armbian-config. After rebooting again with the SD card still in place, the eMMC image seemed to take over again and work like normal. After that I could boot direct to eMMC without SD card again.

    I just built a fresh image using VirtualBox and I can confirm eMMC issue is fixed as well. Thank you!!!

    Thank you, 1920x1080 works with that. I can confirm ethernet works fine as well.

    I was also able to get the image at https://cloud.multivalenzen.de/s/2k36y6QeHrnZHbx running on an OPi3. Great work!!! Maximum resolution is 1024x768 and I can also confirm no "boot from emmc" no reboot and no audio. I was able to get wifi working using kexec's trick.
