  1. I just tried the same setup but instead of connecting an USB storage with my music I connected the server to a NAS system which I run in my network. I works perfect. There seems to be a problem with the USB connection.
  2. root@MusicServer2:~# dmesg | tail -7 [ 8715.488321] sd 0:0:0:0: [sda] 976773168 512-byte logical blocks: (500 GB/466 GiB) [ 8715.488930] sd 0:0:0:0: [sda] Write Protect is off [ 8715.488935] sd 0:0:0:0: [sda] Mode Sense: 47 00 00 08 [ 8715.489553] sd 0:0:0:0: [sda] Disabling FUA [ 8715.489559] sd 0:0:0:0: [sda] Write cache: enabled, read cache: enabled, doesn't support DPO or FUA [ 8715.498223] sda: sda1 sda2 [ 8715.500816] sd 0:0:0:0: [sda] Attached SCSI disk The counter in the web app counts and jumps back about 10 sec then goes on to jump back again. I would be able to start the play back again by jumping to the next title.
  3. I tried with powered USB-Hub. No change. Still after some time the music stops, continues and stops then completely.
  4. Okay. But previously I had a Raspberry pi 3b+ and it worked fine with the same setup. The only issue with the pi was it could only serve one player at a time and I want to run multiple rooms in parallel. Just for your information, I use a 5V 3A power supply with the tinker board.
  5. the error as such has not been detected by the log. (http://ix.io/1QyE). I have not powered the USB drive externally as it has no connection and I do not own a powered USB hub. If this will be the reason, I have to buy one. Thanks for your support.
  6. Hi, I am trying to use a tinker board S as a Logitech Media Server for my multi room installation. The server runs well when streaming radio for a whole day or more. As soon as I start to stream music from the attached USB drive it stops after a few minutes for some seconds continuous then and stops again. After a few of this itterations it stops completely. I tryed to install all available server-OS. At the moment I run BIONIC. I looked in the LMS logs but found noothing. As I am new too this kind of topics I do not know how to find the issue. Can you point me in the right direction?
