  1. On my Orange pi Lite 2, I encountered the freeze both with Armbian_20.08.1_Orangepilite2_focal_current_5.8.5.img and with Armbian_20.08.1_Orangepilite2_buster_current_5.8.5.img. I'm currently using OrangePi_lite2_ubuntu_xenial_desktop_linux5.3.5_v2.0.1. This doesn't freeze. (It's not snappily quick but I can live with that!) But the bluetooth support (which I selected this model for!) doesn't seem to be working. I'm using KDE_Connect host on the pi, hoping to connect with KDE connect on Android. Anyone know of a suitable (preferably Armbian) image with no freezes and with working bluetooth (preferably on-board othewise via USB dongle)? I can't locate ""Linux orangepilite2 5.8.5-sunxi64 #20.08.1 SMP Wed Sep 2 08:26:47 CEST 2020 aarch64 GNU/Linux" but would like to give it a try. Thanks, Larry Myerscough
  2. spent most of today trying to get a USB-wifi adapter working on my OrangePiOne... connman_ctl wpa_supplicant (with and without wpa_cli), iw... you name it, I've probably tried it. Then, when restarting for the umpteenth time, in a rare moment of diminished stupidity, I actually read the "message of the (every) day" which is shown when you login successfully, It mentioned 'armbian-config' ... which i decided to give a try... Five minutes later I had working wifi - which works again after a restart without further configuration! So, a note to myself: be sure to RTFM (= Read the Fabulous Message of the day)! At least this was on my home project, so I don't have the additional guilt of charging a client for the wasted hours! Larry (aka papahippo)
  3. I am trying to use this on an OrangePiOne. I understand that this isn't supported but I had hoped that if I 'lied' and entered 1 (=Orange PiZero) I'd get a consitent module albeit with wrong pin numbers. But it leaves with an unusable 'connector' and 'gpio'. I'm prepared to do some development to support the OrangePiOne if you like.... It isn't immediately clear where to insert the necessary 'tweaks' but if I give it some effort I can find out. Larry Myerscough
