  1. UPDATE: just for notice, I've changed the HDMI cable with another one, and now I can see again in 1080p. Sorry for inconvenience.
  2. Really, it works fine until I made some upgrade with apt, some months ago. But I'm not so sure about it. But I had screen in 1080p, even with x11vnc.
  3. Thanks @jernej for your reply. What is U-Boot, and how can I modify it? If you mean one of the file inside /boot folder, I have a boot.cmd with this setenv: setenv video-mode sunxi:1920x1080@50,monitor=dvi,hpd=0,edid=1 I don't remember if I've insert this setenv or it has always be there. Does I need to remove it?

  5. In these days I've spend time in order to searching for something useful. I've found cudatext CudaText For me is a good chance to have a good IDE, expect for git integration, but as we says in Italy... "you cannot have a drunk wife and a full barrel"...
  6. Really, @Tido I cannot understand your question. I want an IDE to manage projects for many languages, like Python, NodeJS, PHP, and other languages; it must to manage SVN like git; it must to help on indentation; it must help to complete commands and methods during writing... Like Atom or VSCode.
  7. Thanks @lanefu but as I wrote in my topic, this software get a lot of RAM memory. I'm searching for something useful like VSCode, but more usable on small devices.
  8. After a reboot, my HDMI does not send anymore signal. The resolution of my desktop (using x11vnc) is 1024x768. This is the pastebin from dmesg: dmesg from Pine64 There are some error on sunxi8. Can someone help me?
  9. I'm searching for an IDE like VSCode or Atom for my Pine64 with 2GB. I've found a way to install VSCode named Code OSS headmelted, but after 15 minutes the memory gone to be overflow, with the risk to collapse the os. Excluding Geany, is there some IDE that works and can be used for NodeJS/ES6 ?
  10. thanks @ning, I've found this repo: https://github.com/intel/libva Is this the right library to recompile?
  11. Ok, so I can try with libva. Trying to compile the libva_v4l2_request, I got this error: Error on compiling libva_v4l2_request Can you help me?
  12. I need to use VideoLAN VLC on my Pine64, with Armbian Buster. When I play an H264 mkv video, I got images too slow, and then it stops (like freeze). I think there is no hardware acceleration. When I start with mpv through the command: export VDPAU_DRIVER=sunxi mpv --vo=vpdau --hwdec=vdpau --hwdec-codecs=all filename.mp4 I got this: Playing: test.mkv (+) Video --vid=1 (*) (f) 'TST' (h264 1920x1080 23.976fps) (+) Audio --aid=1 --alang=eng (*) (f) 'ENG EAC-3 6ch @640kb/s' (eac3 6ch 48000Hz) (+) Subs --sid=1 --slang=eng (*) (f) 'ENG FORCED' (subrip) Subs --sid=2 --slang=eng 'ENG FULL' (subrip) File tags: Title: test [vo/vdpau] Error when calling vdp_device_create_x11: 25 Error opening/initializing the selected video_out (--vo) device. Video: no video How can I play an H264 video well? I need it for laboratory and classroom using a projector for programming learning.
