  3. Hello! I think the level shifter is not needed, because SDA and SCL on the LCD is inputs and did not have potential to kill CPU. Just connect directly to bus and give +5v on vcc pin. I have tested, and no problem.
  4. Good day! I have the same problem on my Samsung plasmaTV in HD (720p native) and other modes. I read all topic, i tried to change all possible config's but still have overscan problem. Does anybody has solution ?
  5. In boot.cmd Try to modify setenv bootargs "console=ttyS0,115200 console=tty1 root=/dev/mmcblk0p ............." to setenv bootargs "console=tty1 root=/dev/mmcblk0p .............." and don't forget to recompile # Recompile with: # mkimage -C none -A arm -T script -d /boot/boot.cmd /boot/boot.scr
  6. Good day! I found some oddities with UART port driver. If I change the speed or the number of bits in the transmission, then everything works fine. But if I try to set the parity it does not sets. Not work modes: "EVEN, SPACE, MARK". Normal works only "NONE". Anyone faced similar problem? Tested under minicom and Java prorgam. The same result. p.s. I mean this modes sets only logical and does not sets physical. The device on other end always reports parity errors.

I will try to sort out this issue... > Since I am not an opensource law specialist, don't take this tip as 100% proper way.   15. Good day! I have made modifications to the kernel driver for the temperature sensor Dallas ds18b20 on w1 bus. Slightly corrected timings, have achieved stable operation of sensors with parasitic power, and also added the option of changing the resolution. Now you can easily set 9,10,11 or 12bit resolution, by a simple command "echo 9..12 > /sys/bus/w1/devices/28-xxxxxxx/w1-resolution".
