  1. thanks! in my case after many hours of hairpolling, I rebooted the box once more, loaded it with android (original firmware on the emmc) and saw that the ethernet functions well. I then restarted and boot armbian and to my suprise, it resumed working, puzzling indeed...
  2. Hi, my S912 box was untouched for the past few weeks, I tried to connect to it and couldn't I tried direct access and turns out my eth0 (wired lan) is still detected but marked as down the green/yellow light on the box and on the router is not blinking for it. nothing changed in my setup, maybe a armbian update was done recently? my uptime is 7 days but I am not sure I recall restarting 7 days ago.. ifup eth0 image attached what can I check or do to revive it? any help appreciated as the box is currently offline and useless armbian 20.04 on a beelink GT1 TV box using a fast SD card
  3. I installed armbian 20.04 on my beelink GT1 TV box on a fast SD card https://androidtvbox.eu/beelink-gt1-review-smart-tv-box-with-android-6-0-powered-by-amlogic-s912/ works great, but I noticed that even when almost idle, running command line utils has a delay of 2-3 seconds at least commands like docker, npm, node and more. internal commands such as df work instantly. some are rapid the 2nd time and some delay on every launch npm is probably the worst and can take up to 5 seconds is there a way for me to trace what is it doing or waiting for during that time?
  4. Hi, I have a small beelink Z83 box running windows 10 connected via ethernet to my router and my 1G/100Mbit fiber connection. https://androidtvbox.eu/beelink-z83-mini-pc-powered-intel-atom-x5-z8300-cherry-trail-promo/ running speedtest windows store app on this computer, usually it is closer to 980/110, ping is usually 1-2ms next to it I have a beelink GT1 octa core box running armbian 20.04 rc, connected via ethernet to my router (Linksys EA7500) https://androidtvbox.eu/beelink-gt1-review-smart-tv-box-with-android-6-0-powered-by-amlogic-s912/ running speed test on it produces 400-500Mb tops, usually it produces near 500mb/s and 100mb upload which seems like it is capped, also ping is at least double at 4+ms same router, same network connection, stronger hardware specs ethtool eth0, after I disabled auto negotiation: I tried the speedtest to the same server 100 times and never it went over 500mb/s, what can be capping it? any configurations I can try? drivers?
  5. So, I tried installing form armbian-config, however it starts downloading packages and installing and returns to the software list which the docker entry unmarked and not installed, it doesn't work. do you suggest I follow However the following packages replace it: docker-ce-cli:amd64 and install the amd64 variant instead of the regular docker-ce, not sure it is even the same thing
  6. Hi, I followed a standard guide to install docker on Ubuntu 20.04 https://medium.com/@Grigorkh/how-to-install-docker-on-ubuntu-20-04-f1b99845959e everything went fine until I tried sudo apt install docker-ce which suggested I try a amd64 specific version: Reading package lists... Done Building dependency tree Reading state information... Done Package docker-ce is not available, but is referred to by another package. This may mean that the package is missing, has been obsoleted, or is only available from another source However the following packages replace it: docker-ce-cli:amd64 not sure what I did wrong, but I can't find armbian specific docker guides, root@arm-64:~$ lsb_release -a No LSB modules are available. Distributor ID: Ubuntu Description: Ubuntu 20.04 LTS Release: 20.04 Codename: focal any help is appreciated
