BTW, where is /dev/hwrng? Rockchip 4.4 kernel has https://github.com/rockchip-linux/kernel/blob/develop-4.4/drivers/char/hw_random/rockchip-rng.c, so I assume that hardware number generator should be supported.

The same problem, fixed with a small file to sharpen the USB-C hole in the metal plate so the plastic part of the plug can be inserted through the plate closer to the port :-).
