I m not a dev, just a admin. i tried to compile the code of xserver-xorg-video-imx-viv_6.2.2.p0+1.tar.xz, but i failed at missing depencies out of default ubuntu sources yet. Hello I downloaded Armbian for a CuBox i4P from https://redirect.armbian.com/region/EU/cubox-i/Bionic_current_desktop. uname -a reports: Linux cubox-i 5.10.12-imx6 #21.02.1 SMP Wed Feb 3 21:02:35 CET 2021 armv7l armv7l armv7l GNU/Linux However this image is working really fine, for a 7yo hardware. I tried Armbian Focal desktop mainline first, but it didnt show the desktop never again after first reboot, so i was happy with Bionic! Found similar problem here and i think i just need the correct xorg driver. Thanks for any hints, maybe the solid-run repo can help?
