  1. Been up for over an hour with wifi modules in place. Wifi not connected though. Would never stay up this long before. So it has something to do with static vs dynamic address (either MAC and/or IPv4). Knowing this, is there a particular log that I can take of the problem to help out?
  2. I am going to try putting back wifi but keep the static v4 address stuff. Could help steer in the right direction. I do recall that blacklisting wifi alone did not fix the dropping.
  3. I had same problem on OPi PC+ using the latest: Armbian_21.05.1_Orangepipcplus_focal_current_5.10.34 I managed to get it to stay up (has been over 12 hrs so far) by doing the following. Perhaps this is a clue on what might be happening. 1. Blacklisted wifi since I don't use it. Not sure if this is part of the problem or not. I added these lines to /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist.conf blacklist 8189fs blacklist r8723bs 2. Use nmtui to set mac address and static IPv4 address. Problem gone.
