  1. Hi everyone. I am really sorry I haven't been very active since initial release. I have a few issue at home with the family, and haven't been able to do anything at all. I will be back on this VERY soon. Please watch this space!
  2. Is this on the first armbian build? If so, please try the build i linked above with panfrost disabled. Panfrost is looping at the moment with errors (check dmesg) this could be the cause, or at least probably wont be helping the load average. Ok thank you. i shall have a look into this.
  3. https://mega.nz/file/9sFG2LBT#TsNYnUfNcdPkJgCKFUsYWeKA3R2jJXFVOW-9Vh_H1To This build also has panfrost disabled for time being. It causes issues. This bypasses the login screen/dm, but it shouldn't be a problem for you. This is also a desktop build. Server builds coming shortly!
  4. Pleased to hear it 😉 enjoy! What are your plans? Will you be using the gpio header at all? This is one thing I haven't tested. But. It should work! **Crosses everything he has**
  5. That won't work the line of code I put was in the wrong line, it doesn't come across. I'll pish my changes.. I was thinking about removing the "BUILD_DESKTOP" for the Bluetooth...
  6. If you were to clone my fix-bt repo, once I've pushed a little update. And build from that. Build the edge branch. It will all work "out of the box" Give me an hour or so, and I'll update my repos. I'll let you know once I've done it! As far as I was aware, yes panfrost was working. But I'm getting a very "glitchy" dm. And once logged in, and running a dmesg, we're getting an error constantly looping flooding the dmesg... I'll have a look I to the configs etc for the t-720 to see if there's anything I'm missing.
  7. You have an actual lab? Do you buy them in especially? Well as far as I can see, the only issue remaining, I believe, is the panfrost issue. Which I believe you have a fair bit of experience in 😉 haha! May pick your brains at some point if you don't mind? Oh I will be volunteering! That's why I've been trying to keep everything as tidy etc as possible. Is there a formal way to do this? Or do I just stick my hand up here and wait to get picked? I haven't stopped playing over the last few weeks! I've learnt alot! And it's all thanks to this great community!
  8. Can I put myself forward for maintainer? And what sort of rework is required on this? Is there anything I can do to help with this pull request? It's my pull request after all haha! Ukhellfire = afaulkner420 😉
  9. @Eemeien I'll just leave this here 😉
  10. We are using stock dts files from orangepi latest 5.16 kernel. But dependant on if it's the same as armbians kernel (nearly identical I think) something may need changing. Shouldn't do though I do reckon getting them firmware files into place would be the first thing to try. I'll be giving this a go later.
  11. Yarp! Revert the latest commit though. Stops it booting. I just haven't done it yet.
  12. There's actuslly a second branch for the bt-fix. It is something I'm working on slowly. Didn't notice the config firmware files though! Thank you'll I'll have a play with those!
  13. Good to hear! We got there! Well I guess I'll submit a pull request now then! Then I'll look into the Bluetooth! It crashes everytime you try turn it on. Haven't looked at logs or anything yet though, so haven't got a clue what's going on! And at some point, look into the panfrost issue! DONE! https://github.com/armbian/build/pull/3628
  14. Ironically I've enabled the codec and added a whole load of configs for it! So fingers crossed it's sorted! I only ever just enabled the build for opi3 lts in the build. Only now have I enabled the audio...
  15. I'm so glad to be hearing all these positive things! Been a long time coming! Haha! Well sorry to say guys, but another new build! This time ( @sekil), hopefully with working sound! Audio jack that is. Please note, I haven't tested this build myself. Having a bit of a chilled day today with the family. I'll be doing more later tonight and tomorrow! https://drive.google.com/file/d/1ht9CnWaoTUTx4btbVgFPZrFeiZTVbl3J/view?usp=drivesdk Once this has been tested, and I can safely say everyone is happy, I'll push my changes to armbian for everyone else to use! At the moment, I don't think bluetooth is working? It crashes when you try turning it on. This I believe to be low priority at the moment. But once things are stable, I'll look into these lower end bugs. Very probably just a config issue or something. Never know!
  16. Good news! Would be interesting to see if anything arises! We're finally getting somewhere! Good to see! This means it's never been working on my build. It's not something I've tested. Wanted to get it at least booting! Haha! With a stable I ternet connection. Think this is the most important! There's more configs that I need to ad to the build directory to enable the sound... I'll get this all merged and run another build off and upload! I'll keep everyone posted!
  17. So guys... Who fancies a test?? https://drive.google.com/file/d/1NAFxJAj9CgHNkrPICbQIKsLXZhutQbCo/view?usp=drivesdk This is a bit of a dirty build with the above mentioned fix in place. @Kamileon @orangepifan @Rockford the Roe
  18. Yeah it is. Bur surely it can be adapted? I'll see what errors I gey get when I boot it up in a couple of hours...
  19. I believe there is a workaround for panfrost. I'll look I to this... is it the constant error your getting? Looping? https://github.com/orangepi-xunlong/u-boot-orangepi/commit/11f8b71080f8311264ec7098f0be7c0b9ea459b7 Not sure if this is the right fix? I'll be tidying my repos up, and pushing all the commits once I've had a few people confirm it boots etc... I'm running a build now with all my patches, and the i2c config. Without panfrost though 😞
  20. Oh I will be! Thank you! Finally getting somewhere! Maybe I can push to armbian at some point soon!
  21. No way!!! So moving over to i2c fixed the boot completely??? That's it? Well I guess I'll get a build going and upload everything! Get some tests going!
  22. Well I guess I'll be making some changes! Although I need to check, I think I didn't change this when I re-imported! Nope. I'm using rsb. Re-re-re-import here I come! Haha! Thanks for the heads up! That makes perfect sense to the fact that it wouldn't find the defined regulator banks properly!
  23. Because other boards use it, and orangepi moved it rsb when they released their 5.16 kernel didn't they? No they didn't! I take that back! Apologies! Well well well... ironically, if you read back on this thread, that's exactly what I suggested originally. But got told it wouldn't make any difference!
