  1. Happy to say that I'm posting this via my pi!
  2. I'm not sure how useful this would be, but I generated some patch files of the 5.16 BSP kernel and 2020.04 u-boot compared to their vanilla upstreams to try to get an idea of how those two differ. I've attached them below. linux-orangepi.patch u-boot-orangepi.patch
  3. I wonder if it's because of my 60Hz / 120V standard in my country. But that wouldn't make sense if the BSP debian image boots up properly.
  4. I use the USB C outlet provided by the bundle I purchased. The only thing that's plugged in besides that is my keyboard on the top USB 3.0 port
  5. It's still not booting. I'm not sure how to copy a dmesg from initramfs, but it looks similar to a lot of other dmesg logs posted here with those same pins.
  6. I'm also getting one for myself. However, it's being shipped from China and they usually take a month to get here to the US.
  7. I set it on armbianEnv.txt, no change.
  8. I'm having the same problem as I did with the Orange Pi 3 image. Every-time I try to boot it, I get the message: ALERT! UUID=9efeebc7-0ce3-44c6-9382-822d4db81542 does not exist. However, blkid returns with: /dev/sdb1: UUID="6b17d722-0678-4701-9e06-53f39db7da32" I'm going to change the UUID to the correct one, and if it isn't booting still, then I'm stuck.
  9. I'm actually doing something else entirely. I'm trying to port Arch Linux ARM for my LTS. I used your kernel and OrangePi's provided u-boot and built them manually following these instructions.
  10. Yup, I'm also stuck at this part, and it's not just on Armbian. It also doesn't even work with the BSP u-boot. Which adapter would you recommend? I've seen many of them online and I'm not sure if I should grab a USB based adapter or some other port.
  11. I can't say anything for the mods, but I don't believe that you did. If I had more knowledge in C, I would've done exactly this.
  12. Will any of those changes to the kernel and u-boot be added to their respective upstreams? I've been looking at porting other distros to this, but most of the time the upstreams don't seem to work properly.
