  1. thank you very much both @Seth @MattWestB
  2. Hello there, here i am with updates. im with legacy armbian on rk3229. Octoprint works like a charm with a creality ender 3. Also webcams with fswebcam to take pictures. Wifi antenna is weak but works. Ethernet works fine. I tried to compile retroarch but i have no hardware acceleration on legacy version so im looking another way. I have a working lakka image booting from the sd card. Works really great. i burn to emmc with u-tool but no success booting... Sorry for the offtopic but is there any way to make it work? BTW i tried to debug mainline boot following yt tutorials but there is no text on the board with rx, tx or ground... i found 4 suspicious copper points, im risking to brick the device if i try?
  3. @thiagomagamoc do you install legacy or mainline version of armbian?
  4. I tried another sd card. Start the boot process then reboots. I change versosity to 7 and cpu-stability. armbianEnv.txt is not in /etc/ is in /boot. I cant found a boot log, there is no files in /var/log/journal so i got a picture. Let me now if you can read something unusual. thx
  5. @jock Hello there, thanks for the reply. With armbian on emmc (legacy kernel) and sd card on slot (current kernel) boots into legacy version, i think the device try to boot from sd card but im getting some error. I change verbosity so i have a log now. I´ll try another sd card, maybe is broken. bootrk322x.rtf
  6. i went back to 4.4 kernel. desktop version perfermance is similar to rpi3b+. Boots and shutown faster. ethernet, wifi, web browsing... so far so good.
  7. i dont know how to extract the log from de emmc so i film the boot process. Any idea?
  8. @Eliel Prado what kernel are you trying to boot? You should try some legacy kernel, just to see if works. https://users.armbian.com/jock/rk322x/armbian/stable/ the first one works for me. Also you can check this tutorial from a brazilian dude with nand memory.
  9. Hello people! Reporting me here. Yesterday i succesfully boots legacy version of @jock images. He told me try to boot current versions from the mainline. Tried... rk322x-box jammy current cli 286.66 Mb kernel 5.15.63 rk322x-box jammy current xfce 723.94 Mb kernel 5.15.63 rk322x-box sid current cli 341.22 Mb kernel 5.15.63 rk322x-box sid current xfce 627.60 Mb kernel 5.15.63 Also tried Armbian_22.05.0-trunk_Rk322x-box_bullseye_current_5.15.25_minimal.img made by @jock One by one burned into the emmc. Starts booting like for 5 seconds then reboots. Last i can read is "tty2" then reboots again, endlesly Anyone know what could be happening? What can i do? Im with rk3229 1gb ram, 8 gb samsung emmc model KMVUS000LA B304. Wifi chip model: SV6051P thanks again
  10. Hello there! I succesfully burn @jock Armbian_22.02.0-trunk_Rk322x-box_bullseye_legacy_4.4.194_minimal on emmc chip. Boots OK but im stuck on emmc optimization options after running rk322x-config command. The memory chip is a samsung KMVUS000LA-B304 8gb. The processor is rk3229 (I think... its under a heatsink...) This tv box is selled here in Argentina as Noga tv box. Im really excited with this project. Thanks to all people involved! Im posting some pictures, maybe can help someone else. pd: how important are emmc optimization options? can i go on without configuring this? thk again
  11. @jock @RaptorSDS thank you both for anwers. I understand now. @deciorocha Good Luck! boa sorte!
  12. @deciorocha https://users.armbian.com/jock/rk322x/armbian/stable/ I think there isnt server options for this board yet, remember that we are installing unofficial versions . Check @jock versions. You need dts file especifically for your hardware
  13. Hello there, i read all the thread (50 pages) and i cant find how to boot armbian from sd without erase de emmc or nand storage device. I successfully boot lakka on my device. Its a android tv box with rk3229. The dts file from lakka says v884k. Is there a way to make it work armbian and this dts? I dont want to erase Android in the device. Or another distro is fine for me. Hexdump deleted the images on his driver. If somebody can help me i will be gratefull. thanxxx
