I solved this problem above, don't know what exactly caused the problem, but I used a different defconfig (linux-5.16-sunxi64-current.config) and it compiled and linked without errors. Maybe I will compare my current and previous defconfig to see the difference.

For me it's quite a mess when it comes with Orange Pi Zero 2, Does anybody know where I can find Linux sources (doesn't matter which kernel version) for a wifi driver?

I am also trying to bring up all the hardware components but in Yocto and so far I managed to enable Ethernet. I also noticed that a lot o things have been cropped out from the device tree in Kernel 6.0.x. Do you have perhaps a link to the device tree that contains everything that is needed to bring up eg wifi?

Hello, I am wondering what is the current status of wifi on Orange Pi Zero 2? Is it working? If yes then on which release? If not then what are the current problems related to this? Is somebody working on it? How one could help to make it working? I am asking because I am a little bit confused because of this This topic is more than 2 years old but I see no update.
